RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has congratulated the nation on Eid-ul-Fitr.
Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the country with religious zeal and fervour on Sunday (today). Eid prayers were offered at mosques and more than 500 Eidgahs in all cities and towns of the country.
Special prayers were offered for the well-being of the country while in sermons the prayer leaders highlighted the importance and philosophy of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his message on Eid, Army Chief said “We pray to God on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr for His blessings to tackle the challenges being faced by the country”, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) tweet.
