RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has announced a fund of Rs50 million for the uplifting of a hockey game.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Hockey Federation President Khalid Sajjad called on COAS where he apprised the latter about measures for revival of hockey. COAS said that Pakistan Army always supports games especially hockey, adding that the government also interested in the revival of the game.
During the meeting, the army chief announced the fund to which PHF president thanked him.
