Armaghan Qureshi, the prime suspect in the Mustafa murder case, has reportedly confessed to killing the victim, police revealed on Thursday.
According to Aaj News, citing police sources, the suspect admitted to torturing Mustafa with an iron rod for two hours, resulting in severe injuries, including bleeding from the victim’s head and knees.
Qureshi claimed he invited another suspect, Shiraz, to his bungalow on February 6 and summoned Mustafa to join them. Upon Mustafa’s arrival, he was assaulted, placed in his own vehicle, and driven to Hub, Balochistan.
There, both suspects allegedly opened the trunk to find Mustafa still alive. They reportedly doused him with petrol and taunted him to escape, with the prime suspect giving him “a chance to escape before setting him on fire.” Qureshi then “walked from Hub and managed to hitchhike back to Karachi.”
