Apple has officially confirmed the date for its highly anticipated event, where it will unveil the new iPhone 16 series along with updates to the Apple Watch and AirPods.
The keynote event is scheduled for Monday, September 9, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, and will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple’s Cupertino headquarters.
In addition to the iPhone 16, Apple is expected to introduce advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) features under the banner of “Apple Intelligence.” The company may have hinted at this new AI technology through its event logo. Details about the iOS 18 operating system are also set to be revealed.
The iPhone 16 lineup will include four models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 will feature a 6.1-inch display, the iPhone 16 Plus a 6.7-inch display, the iPhone 16 Pro a 6.3-inch display, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max a 6.9-inch display.
All models are expected to incorporate several new features driven by Apple Intelligence. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumoured to have the smallest bezels of any smartphone currently available, with a bezel size of less than 0.06 inches, according to leaks.
With this event, Apple continues to push the boundaries of technology and design, setting new standards for smartphones and other devices.
