Someone once asked me if there is any part of Muslim society that has not fallen. My reply was that the Muslim table is the only place that has not fallen. The month of Ramadan is the month when the amount of food on the table increases five times. The eater does not even think for a moment that the principle of quantity is imposed on food.
Human nature is also strange. In other words, the health is the most valuable asset, but human cares more about the devices he or she purchase for various needs. In these devices, since the car has a special status, let’s keep the car in front of us. When it hires a driver for the vehicle, it specifically emphasizes that its oil and water must be checked daily. Checking oil and water means observing regularly every morning whether the amount of water, engine oil, brake oil, and pressure oil in the radiator is full or not. If it is full, then thank you, but if the amount of any of these things is less, then it should be fulfilled. Do you know why all this trouble is raised daily with full ban? Just because the “health” of the car is good. As if in this regard, the human does not wait for the car to suffer from cough, fever, stomach cramps or headache, then he will take it to the doctor, i.e. the mechanic. Rather, it monitors the total feed of the vehicle in advance. He gives him water and all kinds of oil in the exact quantity required. Neither more nor less than the required amount. Because he knows that this reduction in quantity is dangerous for the health of his vehicle.
A lack of water can cause the engine to overheat and weaken. A lack of engine oil can cause the engine to seize. A lack of brake oil can result in an accident. Therefore, in order to save the vehicle from all the aforementioned disasters, he does this basic work in any case that he wakes up every morning and monitors the amount of food in the vehicle by himself or with the help of the driver.
It’s ironic that the more care we give to a car and the more attention we pay to its food intake. We regularly measure with scales to see if the quantity is less or more than the specified limit. This is not all we do when it comes to our health. We have never seriously considered whether there is a certain amount of food for our own existence or not. Do we keep the calculation of our food intake as strict as we show in the case of our car?
The body needs protein, calcium, vitamins, iron and other nutrients which must be supplied in a balanced amount. Are we providing these components to our body in the required amount? Is it not so that more than the quantity is being poured into the stomach? Nutrient accounting is still a detailed task in that remembering the properties of different vegetables, pulses and fruits and balancing them in your diet for the required nutrients is a thoughtful task. may be acceptable to a certain extent. But the problem here is that most of us are eating egg paratha for breakfast, two rotis with curry for lunch and two rotis for dinner without thinking that this much food is good for our bodies. Is it necessary or not?
The result is that most of people above the age of thirty-five are panting with fifteen to thirty kilos of fat on their bodies. I have personally been one of those people who have put on twenty kilos of fat over the years. Twelve or fifteen years ago, I contacted a weight-loss agency that seized their expensive drugs and a ridiculous year-long diet plan. Neither the diet plan nor the medication worked, resulting in the problem not being resolved. The most popular tip that came up again and again was to walk! I also took a walk and looked, but nothing happened. Then four years ago, after consulting with two prominent doctors in this regard and starting to practice it, it was revealed that the most misleading propaganda regarding weight loss is the one that we are doing by promoting what we have heard ourselves. And that makes losing weight one of the hardest things in the world, when in fact it’s the easiest thing to do.
There is no need to take medicine for this and no need to starve yourself. Also, there is no need to eat boiled vegetables and dull dishes. The problem is that we have given our body an egg for breakfast, two loaves of bread in day and night, which is wrong. If you think about it, parents play an important role in this. As soon as the child reaches the age of ten or twelve years, the mother starts punching two or two loaves of bread. If the child does not eat a couple of loaves of bread, they take him to the doctor because the child is not eating properly. Now, if the doctor says that there is no need for an old man to eat two loaves of bread at a time, then why are you forcing your child to do it? So in this case, Qibla doctor cannot charge fee. When the child does not have any medical problem, then what is the fee? So, by prescribing syrup, the doctor wakes up the child’s appetite to an unnecessary extent so that the fee can be charged. And so each of us has become addicted to two or two pieces of bread and I don’t know how many herbs as a result of the same process.
Now Since we are taking much more than we need in this food, especially wheat, rice and sweets, the result is that this extra food becomes fat and clings to us like a ghost and makes us not only thin but also prone to permanent diseases. Is. And diseases are not small and large, but heart, kidney, liver, pancreas and lungs. Four things need to be controlled in the diet. Sweets, wheat, rice and chicken dishes are served in feasts. We took two boiled eggs with yolk for breakfast as per our doctor’s advice and also had tea with normal sweetness. When you start getting full with boiled eggs, you start taking four slices of brown bread or barley porridge. Instead of eating during the day, they mixed black gram in salad and ate it well. For dinner we would have a roti or a bowl of rice with curry. But curry should be doubled so that hunger does not remain and an unnecessary amount of wheat or rice does not enter the stomach.
The thing to understand is that wheat, rice and sweets are dangerous, not curry. Sweets are foods that contain sugar as the main ingredient. For example, cold drinks, sweets, custard and pudding etc. This diet plan did not include the help of drugs and did not have to starve. By controlling only three things, harmless things were added in their place. The result is that four kg weight loss started in one month. And twenty kilos of fat disappeared from the body in four months. After some time we also gave up salad and black gram takalaf during the day.
Now only breakfast and dinner is the norm. It’s a good thing in winter because everyone’s nature is more inclined to eat and drink. So they freeze in the winter and do bad things. But watch the weight. As soon as five to ten kilos increase. By giving up indulgences, breakfast and dinner go back to normal. So the weight also comes back to its fixed limit. Listen to a funny story as you go. If the above-mentioned diet plan is strictly adhered to, then one day in a week can be avoided. We do this abstinence one day a week with all honesty. And there is no harm in it. It is a strange thing to bind a Muslim to the amount of food in Ramadan, but it is not more strange than politics!
