Amid lockdown, a well-known PTI MNA hosted a valima reception for his daughter at his residence last night.
The ceremony took place in Karachi’s DHA Phase 6 two days after the Sindh government had banned all sorts of gatherings across the province till August 8. According to PTI MNA Aslam Khan, no one can shut down this ceremony as it is his ‘daughter’s wedding’.
Aslam Khan had hosted his daughter’s valima at his residence and invited only his family and close friends for the function. According to him, the PTI MNA had not hosted a huge gathering in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the recently imposed lockdown bars citizens roaming the streets and holds any kind of gathering and weddings, etc. As per strict lockdown, the government offices will remain closed from next week.
Those people who do not get injected will not be paid salaries after 31st August. All markets in the province will remain closed, but pharmacies will stay open and inter-city transport will be closed.
