This Is Us actress Mandy Moore took to her Instagram Stories and called out the e-commerce giant for allegedly delivering her package to her in-laws’ home, which was destroyed in the Los Angeles fires in the United States.
According to international media, she posted on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, stating, “Do better, Amazon. Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists?” Mandy wrote. “This is my mother- and father-in-law’s home.”
Mandy included a photo of a brown box along with her message, which appears to have an Amazon label on it, placed on the steps in front of the burned-down house. Meanwhile, an Amazon spokesperson has responded to the situation in a statement given to the media.

The spokesperson stated that Amazon had reached out to Ms. Moore via Instagram to apologize for her concern and to ask for more information from her in-laws so that the matter could be investigated. According to the statement, for weeks, they had advised those delivering on their behalf in Southern California to use discretion in fire-affected areas.
However, the spokesperson stated that the package delivery to a destroyed home “clearly did not happen” there. Meanwhile, a media report suggests that Mandy Moore, along with her three children and husband Taylor Goldsmith, is staying with another famous couple after part of her home was destroyed in the Los Angeles fires.
