The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has formally unveiled its Summer Internship Program (SIP) for 2025, which is a six-week initiative scheduled to occur at the SBP headquarters in Karachi from June 23 to August 1, 2025.
This program is available to citizens of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) who fulfill the specified eligibility requirements.
Candidates are required to submit their applications online through the designated link. Applications sent via email, in person, or through postal services will not be considered. The deadline for submission is February 14, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the internship, applicants must:
– Be enrolled in a bachelor’s program (having completed at least two years) or a master’s program in one of the following fields: Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Agriculture, Media Sciences/Mass Communication, Information Systems, and Technology.
– Achieve a minimum of 70% marks (if applying under the percentage system) or a CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 (or 4.00 out of 5.00) under the GPA system.
– Ensure they meet the eligibility criteria at the time of application (graduates or students awaiting results are not eligible).
Selection Process for the Internship
Candidates who are shortlisted will be informed by March 14, 2025, and will need to provide attested copies of their most recent official transcript, CNIC/NICOP/passport, domicile, and a passport-sized photograph.
