The Chinese-owned global B2B e-commerce platform, Alibaba, has rolled out specialized online logistics services designed to help Pakistani exporters streamline and enhance their international trade operations.
As cross-border e-commerce grows rapidly, Pakistani small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are increasingly seeking access to global markets. Yet, many face logistical hurdles that complicate their export operations. To address this, Alibaba is introducing integrated logistics solutions designed to streamline the process, lower costs, and shorten delivery times.
In support of this initiative, Alibaba has partnered with leading international express delivery providers, including CPEX. This collaboration enables Pakistani products to reach over 200 countries and regions with efficient end-to-end logistics — from packaging and warehousing to final delivery.
Through its robust logistics network, Alibaba offers secure transportation, real-time tracking, and expert customs advisory services, helping businesses minimize risks and enhance their global competitiveness.
“Online logistics services are vital for SMEs participating in international trade,” said Summer Gao, head of global supply chain at Alibaba. “They not only cut costs and simplify operations but also empower businesses to scale globally with confidence.”
Gao added that Alibaba leverages advanced technologies and end-to-end logistics solutions to help Pakistani SMEs stay agile, meet global demand, and grow sustainably.
As Pakistan navigates a challenging path toward economic recovery, the government has emphasized the need to increase exports to drive trade and investment, essential for reviving its $350 billion economy.
