Islamabad: Days after the Rizwana torture case another incident of brutality with 13-year-old housemaid Andaleeb has been reported in the capital city of Islamabad.
Talking to MM News on Wednesday, the mother of Andaleeb claimed that his daughter was tortured in the home where she was working. “The lady ( owner of the house) brutally tortured my daughter, threw hot water on it, and also injured him with a hot iron,” she added.
Andaleeb’s mother said that her daughter worked in the home as a maid for one month and nine days, but she was not paid, and during this period was beaten and tortured every day.
She said that they belong to Chanute area of Punjab and Andaleef had got this job with the help of a company. “I didn’t know that they will torture my daughter,” she added. She said that the police has arrested the accused woman on her complaint, however, she said that she didn’t know much about the woman and her family.
The victim, Andaleeb also talked to MM News and said that over minor things and mistakes not only the woman but also her children used to torture her. “They also didn’t allow me to contact my family,” she added.
On the occasion, A female doctor who treated Andaleeb, also talk to MM News and confirm that the minor maid was brutally tortured.
Rizwana Case:
A 14-year-old housemaid was allegedly subjected to brutal torture by the wife of a civil judge in Islamabad and a case was lodged by the parents of the girl at a local police station some two weeks ago. Somia Hafeez, the wife of civil judge Asim Hafeez allegedly tortured her maid Rizwana after blaming her for stealing gold jewelry.
