A 35-year-old Afghan national carried out a knife attack at a well-known train station in Germany, injuring several people.

According to British media reports, the suspect targeted individuals at a Jehovah’s Witnesses stand inside the station, attacking multiple people with a knife.

Brave bystanders at the scene managed to overpower the attacker before police arrived. Officers subsequently took the suspect into custody and launched an investigation.

Further details regarding the suspect’s identity have not yet been released, and authorities are continuing their inquiries into the motive behind the attack.

It is worth noting that a similar incident occurred in Würzburg in 2021, when a refugee carried out a knife attack that left three women dead and nine others seriously injured.
