LAHORE: The Sabzazar Police in Lahore have registered a case against Nasir Khan on charges of rape and sexual assault, following a complaint by stage actress Arooj Khan.
According to the FIR under Section 376, the actress alleged that the accused first befriended her and later lured her into stage-related work and visits to his home.
The actress told investigators that Nasir Khan took advantage of their growing association and, after giving her drugs and a juice-like substance, raped her.
The complaint further states that the accused has since been blackmailing and threatening to make an alleged nude video go viral. Police said raids are underway to arrest the suspect, adding that he is expected to be taken into custody soon.
Police sources also noted that the case follows prior allegations involving the same individual.
They said that in 2024, Nasir Khan reportedly opened fire at the actress’s residence in broad daylight, allegedly in an attempt to force a relationship and after issuing threats for several days.
A police spokesperson confirmed that the investigation has begun and relevant leads are being followed to bring the accused to justice.
