RAWALPINDI: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a suspect allegedly involved in the murder of a young man within 24 hours in Rawalpindi.
According to details, Aleemullah was stabbed to death by his close relative Gulzada, who died of his wounds in a hospital during treatment.
The case of the murder of the victim was registered after a complaint registered by his uncle Muhammad Amin Khan. A team of investigating officers has traced and arrested the killer Gulzada with the help of modern technology.
Meanwhile, police arrest a gang member of robbers involved in looting people on Kashmir Highway. Karachi Company Police arrested Faisal Hussain Shah, a leading member of the gang involved in the robbery on Kashmir Highway at gunpoint.
Weapons used in the robberies, Rs 50,000 snatched from citizens and a mobile phone were recovered from the possession of the accused.
Police officials said that raids are being carried out to arrest other accomplices of the accused while a case has been registered against the accused.

According to details, the Civil Line police registered a report of the murder of a woman, Bilquis Bibi. Police had found the dead body of the woman from a house. The incident took place in the Sher Zaman Colony area. The accused fled the scene after the murder.
After a thorough investigation in this regard, the police arrested the slain woman’s brother, for his involvement in the murder.
The weapon involved in the murder was also recovered. During the interrogation, it was revealed that the motive behind the murder could be honour.
