Accountability process will not be stopped: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the process of accountability will not be stopped under any circumstances.

Dr. Babar Awan, Advisor to Parliamentary Affairs, called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed legislation in the Parliament. Legislation with the FATF was also discussed during the meeting.

On the occasion, the prime minister said that the process of accountability would not be stopped and those returning to the country would not be given NRO under any circumstances.

According to sources, Babar Awan gave a briefing on the legal issues for the repatriation of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

Earlier, Special Health Assistant Faisal Sultan and Punjab Provincial Health Minister Yasmeen Rashid called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed issues related to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa-style expansion in the issuance of the Health Justice Card in Punjab.

Moreover, on the occasion of Defence Day, PM Imran Khan said there was nothing more sacred than defending the motherland.

The prime minister said, “That 55 years ago, the Armed Forces and the zealous nation proved to the world that we are ever ready to defend the motherland at all costs”.
