KARACHI: Abrar Ul Haq, the famous Pakistani singer and also an active member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on May 31, has fully recovered and tested negative for the virus on Wednesday.
On a social media website Twitter, he shared the good news with the fans. He also said that he has joined his office after quarantine. He tweeted, “Alhamdulillah I have been tested Corona negative and today is my 1st day in the office after quarantine.”

Abrar thanked fans for their prayers and also prayed for the quick recovery of other coronavirus patients. “Thanks to all those who prayed for my success. May Allah SWT bless all the patients with quick recovery and keep everyone safe. Ameen,” he added.
Earlier, Abrar Ul Haq had tested positive for coronavirus on May 31. On a social media website Twitter, Abrar Ul Haq had confirmed the news, saying that while his COVID-19 test had come out positive, he will still be carrying on with professional duties through video conferencing.
“My corona test came positive, I am home quarantined, however, Insha-Allah, I will keep performing my duties through Skype as Red Crescent and Sahara worker,” he said, adding: “Please pray for me and all those fighting it.”
