TV host and PTI Member of National Assembly (MNA) Aamir Liaquat Hussain is all set to debut in an acting career in a telefilm.
Famous for his Ramzan transmissions, Aamir Liaquat will now be starring in ‘Bas Corona’, a made-for-TV comedy on the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Liaquat, the telefilm is “about the problems and children that sprung up” during the lockdown.
Besides Liaqat, actress Nausheen Shah, Qavi Khan, and Saba Faisal are also in the telefilm. Nausheen Shah will be playing his wife in the movie while Qavi Khan and Saba Faisal will play with his parents.
Produced by Gold Bridge Media, ‘Bas Corona’ will premiere on a private channel. The film has been written by Syed Sajjad Haider Zaidi but Liaquat has also written a few of the lines for the movie himself.

His second wife Tuba Aamir also made her television acting debut with the drama serial ‘Bharaas’ alongside Zubab Rana and Salman Saeed.
