ISLAMABAD: PML-N central vice president Maryam Nawaz has declared that the Pakistan Peoples Party is no longer a part of PDM and further discussion on this topic should be avoided.
The appeals of Maryam Nawaz and her husband Captain Safdar were heard in the Islamabad High Court today. While talking to the media, on the occasion, she said that there is no difference in PDM, everyone has the same ideology so is Nawaz Sharif’s position. “The PPP is no longer part of the PDM,” she maintained by adding, “The international media found out that the government has given air bases to the United States,” she added.
She further stated that all parties under the PDM will work as a team and share the same perspective. Moreover, she also exclaimed that the people who support Prime Minister Imran Khan will also bear the consequences.

Lastly, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) is hearing appeals against Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and her husband Captain (r) Safdar’s sentences in the Panama case reference. His arguments are being recorded by the judicial assistant Azam Tarrar.
Nawaz Sharif had filed an appeal against the sentence in the Azizia reference. A bench of judges of the Islamabad High Court will hear the arguments of Maryam Nawaz, Captain Safdar, and the NAB prosecution and decide on the modalities for proceeding with the appeals.
Speaking in Sheikhupura last month, Maryam Nawaz said that if speaking the truth and abiding by the constitution and law is a traitor, then we will commit this betrayal again and again.Â
