ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair a federal cabinet session today (Tuesday) to discuss 15-point agenda besides reviewing the current political and economic situation of the country.
According to sources, the cabinet will approve the implementation of the Mandatory Service Act (MSA) for the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees. The cabinet will also be briefed on PIA’s restructuring plan.
The federal cabinet will also consider the summary of the Interior Ministry regarding the license of the prohibited bore arms. The cabinet will approve a Memorandum of Understanding between Pakistan and the Saudi Development Fund.
The federal cabinet will also review requests on mutual legal requests from non-treaty countries while briefing on circular debt plan is also part of the agenda of the cabinet meeting.
A summary of special exemptions for the implementation of four fast-track projects of the Ministry of Health is also on the agenda of the federal cabinet. The cabinet will also approve the appointment of Chief Executive of Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation
The cabinet will also endorse decisions taken by the Cabinet Committee on Energy (CCE) during its two previous meetings. The decisions of the Cabinet Committee on Legislation will be ratified.
