KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday ordered the federal government to remove Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nisar Khuhro’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

A two-judge bench of the SHC permitted the Sindh minister to travel abroad from April 9 till May 19. During the hearing, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor stated before the court that the inquiries are being held against Khuhro.

He raised concerns that the politician might not return back after travelling abroad. The prosecutor pleaded with the high court to not permit him to leave the country.
