Actress Mehwish Hayat in a recent talk show highlighted how body shaming others is harmful.

Being a guest on the television show with host Vasay Chaudhry, Hayat was questioned over how she feels the subject of body shaming should be approached, to which she responded that celebrities should be careful about the way they utilise their public platform, and any such baited comment would be also heard by their fans.

Later, Hayat later took to a social media platform and urged everyone to be more responsible and hoped everyone understands this and follows through. “It’s about time we become more aware of our responsibilities and act accordingly,” shared the actress.

She further shared that after giving birth to her youngest daughter recently she received some really mean comments from her co-workers on her body.
