There are so many languages but Ali Gul Pir only chooses to speak facts. His new track ‘Tera Jism Meri Marzi’ which recently got released aims a blatant references to women in our society.
The title itself could be interpreted that the song is made on an extremely controversial slogan ‘Mera Jism Meri Marzi’ used in 2019’s Aurat March. Featuring Ali Gul Pir and Pakistani rapper Eva B, the song highlights the physical abuse a woman bears every day by her husband.
While sarcastically thanking Khalil-ur-Rehman at the beginning of the song, Pir begins that a man being disrespectful towards his wife but he is somehow proud of it because it’s nice for a man to act ‘macho’ which means mostly hitting a woman.

The song highlights jealous men in our society who are unable to understand why women are on the streets fighting for their rights when they have already provided them a home to live in, a kitchen to cook food, and children to complete HER.
His lyrics ‘Tera Jism Meri Marzi Chup Aurat Achi bole Tou Gandi’ is an eye-opener for so many people who glorify and objectify a woman that what should she speak, talk, wear, and they fit properly in the beauty standard (fair, tall, and slim) set by our society.
Taking to Twitter, Pir wrote ‘Tera Jism, Meri Marzi’ because how dare you say that you have ownership of your own body.
