WASHINGTON: The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has risen to 108 million and 2,167,092 people have lost their lives.
More than 728.42 million patients of coronavirus have been cured in the world and more than 258.14 million are undergoing treatment. The coronavirus situation is the worst in the United States, with 435,452 deaths and more than 26 million people affected.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases, with 153,751 deaths and more than 16.9 million people diagnosed with the virus. The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Brazil is 218,918 and more than 89.36 million people are affected.
More than 3,756,000 people in Russia have been infected with the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll to 70,482. More than 3,689,000 people have been affected in the UK and more than 100,000 have died.

In France, more than 3,079,000 people have been affected and 74,106 have lost their lives. More than 2.733 million people have been affected and 56,799 have died in Spain.
In Italy, 2.485 million people have been affected while 86,422 people have died. In Turkey, 2,485,956 people have been affected and 25,344 have died. The first 50 million cases were reported in 356 days, while the last 50 million cases were registered in just ninety days.
According to statistics, the first case of coronavirus was registered on November 17, 2019, after which the number of cases reached one crore on June 27, 2020.
