Jade Pinkett Smith adores her ‘spiritual mother’ Abida Parveen

Pakistan’s sufi singer Abida Parveen does not only have fans in Pakistan but she has an impressive fan base internationally as well.

Recently, one of her fans American actress Jade Pinkett Smith has seen expressing her love for maestro Abida Parveen.

The Hollywood actress posted a video clip on her Instagram story where Abida Parveen can be seen performing at the Development and Literary (DIL) gala in San Francisco USA.

Actress Smith said in the caption, “My night with my spiritual mother Abida Parveen, the one I won’t forget.” She further said, “She has seen her path ahead.”

The actress later posted a series of images with her ‘spiritual mother’ praising her soulful music.

This is not the first time that Smith has shown her affection for Abida Parveen. The Girls Trip actress disclosed her fondness for Abida Parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Chaap Tilak saying “two of my favorite vocalists of Sufi music.”

Abida Parveen is counted amongst a few greatest singers of the world who enjoy a massive fan following across the globe.
