LAHORE: The Pakistan Democratic Party (PDM) is all set to host a rally in Malakand today.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will attend it. Reportedly, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz might not be able to participate in public meetings.
The PDMdemanded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government to resign by 31st January 2021. The alliance of 11 opposition parties held a public gathering against PTI earlier on Sunday in Balochistan, where PDM leaders criticized the government. The PDM criticised the government’s policies and said that present rulers who had promised to bring a change in the country were giving corpses to the people of Balochistan.

They said that billions of rupees were being spent in the name of restoring peace, but everybody could witness the worst law and order situation in Balochistan. The speakers added, “We will never surrender and give up our struggle launched across the country for upholding the Constitution, rule of law, the supremacy of parliament, democracy and rights of the people of the country.”
