MUMBAI: The Indian Air Force has demanded the streaming website Netflix to remove abusive scenes from the upcoming Bollywood movie ‘AK Versus AK’ in IAF uniforms.
According to Reuters, the IAF expressed anger over the release of the trailer of the black comedy thriller movie two days ago and demanded the removal of abusive scenes from Netflix.
In a tweet, IAF while mentioning the names of ‘Netflix’ and ‘Anil Kapoor’ wrote that the language of Galum Gluch shown in the film does not translate to the Indian Air Force.
The IAF uniform in this video is inaccurately donned & the language used is inappropriate. This does not conform to the behavioural norms of those in the Armed Forces of India. The related scenes need to be withdrawn.@NetflixIndia @anuragkashyap72#AkvsAk https://t.co/F6PoyFtbuB
