KARACHI: An operation was conducted against illegal encroachments in Malir district and more than ten acres of land was vacated from the possession of the land mafia.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Malir Gahanwer Ali Laghari against unscrupulous elements involved in occupying public lands. The Anti-Encroachment Force used heavy machinery to vacate the lands from illegal possession.

It has been revealed that Habibullah Jokhio, Muhammad Khan Chachar and Soomar Baloch were involved in occupying public lands and selling them at lower costs. The suspect made an announcement from the loudspeaker of a mosque and instigated locals to attack the heavy machinery of the anti-encroachment force.
