ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan is ready to work with every government of Afghanistan.

Addressing a seminar of Pakistan-Afghan Trade and Investment Forum 2020, the prime minister said that the region has had ties with Afghanistan for centuries but the chaos in Afghanistan has hurt both countries. “Pakistan wants a peaceful Afghanistan,” he said.

The prime minister said that both Pakistan and Afghanistan had suffered in the war on terror while the chaos in Afghanistan had created misunderstandings in both countries. “External pressure cannot impose an opinion on the people of Afghanistan. Now the people will have to make their own decisions,” he maintained.
