GILGIT: Chairman Pakistan People Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has arrived in Gilgit-Baltistan for campaigning ahead of elections in the region.
Addressing the Workers Convention in Gilgit, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that we will form an assembly in Gilgit-Baltistan.. “I did not come here just for the elections and I am not going to renege on my promise. We have to give the people of Gilgit-Baltistan their rights,” he said.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that everyone knows that Benazir Bhutto gave jobs and we also have to give rights to the people of Gilgit-Baltistan. “I am Bhutto’s grandson,” he maintained.
“We will form our own government in Gilgit-Baltistan and the promise I made in 2018 is the same today,” he said by adding, “We have to solve the basic problems of the people.”

He said that during the tenure of former President Asif Ali Zardari, pensions and salaries had been increased by 100 percent and salaries by 150 percent while a network of free treatment hospitals had been set up in Sindh. Free treatment of kidney and liver in Gambit.
