WASHINGTON: The coronavirus has killed 993,463 people worldwide and infected 32,765,204.
Around the world, 241,788,346 people infected with coronavirus have recovered and the number of active cases has come down to 7,593,395.
The United States ranks first among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 284,440 people dying and more than 7,244,000 being diagnosed with the coronavirus.
India ranks second in the world in terms of coronavirus cases where the total number of coronavirus cases has exceeded 5.93 million. The total number of deaths from the virus in India has risen to 93,410.

Brazil is the third most affected country in the world, with 4692,000 people infected and 140,709 dead. Russia ranks fourth among countries infected with the coronavirus, with more than 1.136 million people infected with the virus and a total of 20,056 deaths.
Colombia ranks fifth among countries infected with the coronavirus, with 25,103 deaths and more than 798,000 reported cases.
In Peru, more than 794,000 people have been affected, while 32,037 people have lost their lives. More than 720,000 people have been affected in Mexico and 75,844 deaths have been reported.
The first case of coronavirus was reported on 17th November 2019 in China and on 6th March, the number of cases worldwide exceeded one million.
