KARACHI: Mohammad Younis, father of national cricket team bowling Coach Waqar Younis has passed away.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Waqar Younis has left Sydney after he received the news. Pakistan Cricket Board also expressed their grief and sent their condolences.

Waqar’s father died due to a long illness. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Punjab. News of his father’s death was received by Waqar in Australia.
He had quarantined himself on arrival after his visit to England with Pakistan men’s team
According to his wife, Dr. Faryal Waqar, he has left Sydney for Lahore without meeting his family.
