LAHORE: Famous singer Sajjad Ali has turned 54 years old today.
Pakistani singer, actor, and director Sajjad Ali was born in Lahore on 24th August 1966 and graduated from the National Arts College, Karachi.
At the age of 14, Sajjad Ali performed classical music programs in Raga Ring, whether it was Paka Raga or Dhime Sar or Pop Song, Sajjad Ali is prominent in every genre. He is also credited with introducing pop music in Pakistan.
Sajjad Ali’s song ‘Bawari Chakori’ attracted people who understand music, after which the great singers believed that it would go on to earn a good name, and then it happened.
In 1993, Sajjad Ali’s song ‘Baby Aa’ caused a stir. However, many of Sajjad Ali’s superhit songs and albums are fans’ favorites. ‘Chief Saab’, ‘Abhi Mood Nahi Hai’, ‘Sohni Lag Di’ are some of Sajjad Ali’s superhit songs. Sajjad Ali’s last album was released in 2008.

Sajjad Ali’s song ‘Be Beya’ took him to the heights of fame overnight. Just like the singer sings in ghazal singing, his art speaks well in pop songs. He also showed the essence of acting in ‘Love Letter’, ‘Manda Tera Deewana’.
