ISLAMABAD: A new 617 cases and 15 deaths have been reported in Pakistan due to the coronavirus epidemic while 13,633 patients are still under treatment.
According to the National Command Operation Center, the number of coronavirus infection cases across the world has surged to 21,613,699 and the pandemic has so far claimed 768,958 lives.
126,182 coronavirus cases have come to light in Sindh. 95,447 cases were reported in Punjab, 35,215 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,390 in Islamabad, 2,184 in Azad Kashmir, 2,502 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 12,295 in Balochistan.
The death toll from the coronavirus has risen to 2,182 in Punjab, 2,322 in Sindh, 1,239 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 173 in Islamabad, 138 in Balochistan, 60 in Azad Kashmir and 61 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the NCOC, 1308 coronavirus patients are being treated in 735 hospitals across the country and 141 patients are on a ventilator.
Coronavirus testing capacity in the country has exceeded 60,000 per day. And 132 testing laboratories are working. Trace, test, and quarantine strategies are working effectively in 30 cities.
The graph of coronavirus cases in Pakistan is constantly coming down, but the threat of coronavirus has not yet been averted.
The first case of coronavirus in Pakistan was registered on 26th February. Moreover, the Punjab health department has warned of a second wave of coronavirus in the province due to a lack of precautionary measures adopted by the masses.
