Sindh received more aid than any other province: Haleem Adil

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice president and Parliamentary leader in Sindh Assembly, Haleem Adil Sheikh on Monday said the federal government has given more aid to Sindh than any other province.
Haleem Adil Sheikh said relief material has already been provided to all government hospitals of Sindh by the federal government. The PTI leader said the provincial government has created a scare among the masses about the COVID-19 epidemic, instead of taking effective measures to tackle it.
Adil said that the conspiracies are being hatched against the federal government and there are disinformation drives about the state of the national economy and COVID-19 pandemic. He said, “We always believe in serving people and we have always talked about the interests of the poor masses”.
PTI government accords high priority to the development of Sindh and would make sure more funds for the provision of better healthcare and education facilities in the province, he added.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan was highly focused on the problems of Sindh, which were ignored by PPP leaders and PM was personally monitoring the situation of Sindh after surging in coronavirus cases.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan, since the COVID-19 pandemic, was taking the nation on board in every decision and requesting the nation to adopt preventive steps in order to limit the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, adding that Pakistan cannot afford the lockdown policy for a long time.
While criticizing the PPP government in Sindh he said that PPP ministers instead of resolving the people problems, they were busy in criticising the federal’s budget 2020-21.
The PTI leader believes that the federal government gives the best budget in the prevailing situation due to COVID-19 pandemic. He said after NFC Award and the 18th amendment provincial governments have more powers.
Haleem Adil appealed people to stay in their homes to protect themselves and their families from coronavirus. He maintained that the citizens should not go out until it is necessary.
