LAHORE: Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan has sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court at the Governor’s House today.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar administered the oath to Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan. He is the 50th Chief Justice of LHC.
Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar along with Chief Secretary Punjab, Inspector-General (IG) Police and other provincial ministers were also present at the oath-taking ceremony.
Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan was elevated as a high court judge in February 2010 and he would retire on 5th July next year. He was born on 6th July 1959 and has been a senior LHC judge since 1st January 2020.
