LAHORE: Punjab information minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has said that there is no case of Coronavirus in Punjab.
While addressing media today, Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that Punjab was completely safe from Coronavirus.
“There is no need to be afraid of it as there are several rumours that surrounded a viral outbreak but I request people not to panic,” Chohan said.
Chohan while addressing also informed that the coronavirus kits arrived last month in the country.
He further said that Pakistan would tackle the virus. Punjab would distribute health cards to 35 million people, he added.
Recently ninth case of the coronavirus in Sindh, pushing the total number of the COVID-19 cases to 13 in Sindh and 16 in Pakistan.
In this regard, the Sindh Health Department has suggested to shut down educational institutions for longer duration and ban on public gatherings in the metropolis.

Sindh Minister of Health and Population Welfare Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho chaired a meeting today and decided that Sindh Health Department would be setting up its own screening desk at Karachi Airport to screen all the passengers coming to the city.
