LONDON: Personal physician of former premier Nawaz Sharif, Dr. Adnan has been reportedly attacked in London.
According to Dr. Adnan, he was attacked in a park during his daily evening walk, when he was attacked from behind by two unidentified men.
He was shifted to a hospital immediately. He had sustained injuries on the head, face, and chest. He was punched by the attackers on the floor and used a metal bar to attack him.
Upon the police’s arrival, he had been receiving threat calls for a few weeks but he did not take it seriously.
Dr. Adnan had been staying in London since November last year with Nawaz Sharif. As the former premier was granted bail on medical grounds.
