KARACHI: Sindh government has taken the notice of a sub-engineer Sohail Abbas’s death due to the absence of a doctor KDA Poly Clinic Hospital.
Minister for Municipality Sindh Syed Nasir Hussain Shah took notice of Sohail Abbas who suffered a cardiac attack but could not survive due to the absence of the doctor.
Ordering an inquiry into the Director General’s KDA, the municipality directed that the report be submitted within 48 hours after an impartial investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, the trade unions of the Organization Development Karachi (KAA) are in severe agitation.
Protesting Chief Minister Imran Hussain said that strict action should be taken against Dr. Z. and staff while on the other hand, DAA Employees Union were also protesting.
KDA Employees’ Union acting chief Syed Naveed Anwar said that Dr. Z’s absence at the polyclinic was, on the one hand, lacking in his duties and playing human lives on the other.
The patron demanded that the incident should be investigated at a higher level. Doctors and staff often disappeared at the DNA of the polyclinic. The news was released by MM News in this regard yesterday.
