Necessary steps are taken to prevent coronavirus: Dr. Zafar Mirza

ISLAMABAD: PM’s Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr. Zafar Mirza has said that all necessary steps were taken to prevent coronavirus.

While chairing a meeting of an emergency core group to prevent coronavirus, Dr. Zafar Mirza has said that the incumbent government was working on emergency basis for the welfare and protection of the people.

Dr. Zafar Mirza said directed the concerned authorities and health department of the provinces to do their best to deal with the outbreak of coronavirus.

PM’s special aide also urged the people of Pakistan to take necessary precautions and follow hygiene principles for prevention of the outbreak.

The Special Assistant confirmed that so far only five cases have been reported in Pakistan and every possible measure is being taken to limit the outbreak.
