Citizen distributes free masks in Karachi amid coronavirus outbreak

KARACHI: After the federal government confirmed 2 cases of coronavirus in Pakistan, panic has been created among the masses. In this regard, a citizen was distributing free masks among people in Karachi.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan, the prices of surgical masks have been hiked in various cities of the country.
Talking to M.M. News, the citizen named Junaid Shafiq has said, “Our sole purpose is to work for the sake of Allah instead of taking any advantage from this calamity.”
He said, “We do not have to make any profit, but we have to prepare for the Judgment Day.”
Junaid Shafiq also urged the people to not take advantage of this situation and helped other people just as our religion Islam teaches us.
He said that the mask box that was previously available at three to four hundred is now available at the price from 1700 to 1800.
Junaid Shafiq said that in many places the mask is not available at this time, so we decided to give all the masks we have for sake of Allah.
He appealed to the people of Karachi that they should come forward in this difficult time and fight this disaster together.
