ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza has said that the government has to put in all its efforts to make Davis Cup Tie a super event that is scheduled next month in Pakistan.
Chairing a meeting to review the security arrangements prior to the Davis Cup Tie here, Fehmida said all support will be provided to Pakistan Tennis Federation in organizing the Davis Cup Tie victorious.
The Minister said Pakistani players have always given wonderful performances and made the country conceited in all the international sports events. She hoped that this time again the uphill struggle of Pakistani players would make productive outcomes.
PTF president informed the meeting that seven players from Slovenia’s team would come to Pakistan to take part in the event.
The meeting was attainted by Secretary IPC, Director General Pakistan Sports Board, President Pakistan Tennis Federation and others.
