ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the opposition alliances who were protesting outside the Parliament House have nothing but their own political interest.
In a series of tweets, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan criticised the opposition alliances by saying that they were opposing for their own political profits, not for people.
Awan wrote in a tweet that these opposition leaders had no sympathies with people. They were only concerned about their corruption, she added.
She further wrote, “Opposition parties protest in front of Parliament House is nothing more than cry over their political needs.”
Awan stated that those who protest at the Parliament House were criminals. Such political leaders had plunged the country into poverty, inflation, and debt, Awan added.
Awan earlier on 9th February said that the people knew that only Prime Minister Imran Khan had the ability to change the system.
She said that people wanted a change in the system and stand along Imran Khan for fulfilling the dream of Pakistan envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
