ISLAMABAD: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Friday issued guidelines for the people to avert coronavirus outbreak threats.
NDMA spokesperson issued a statement and said the coronavirus conduced various deaths in Wuhan city of China and was a viral disease getting transferred among people.
The statement said any person affected by flu and cough should cover his nose and mouth while coughing or sneezing with a tissue or flexed elbow to prevent the release of droplets openly in the air.
nevertheless, everyone should frequently wash hands properly and water or Alcohol-based hand rub or sanitizer.
It further stated any person suffered flu symptoms, keep a maximum distance from other people as it can save the healthy persons from droplets.
Evade hugging or shaking hands if any persons have symptoms of flu. Dispose of used tissues properly at once after usage.
NDMA statement further said people should remain careful in case of fever, cough, difficulty breathing and instantly see a doctor diagnose the diseases.
In case a person has got flu symptoms should stay home from work, school or crowded places until the health conditions improve to better, the statement read.
It further urged the routine to wash hands after every critical moment including before and after coughing, sneezing, looking after an ill patient, cooking, eating, playing with pets, defecation and every time when hands get dirty.
furthermore, it also instructed the sufficient to regularly clean hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water and also keep away from touching eyes, nose or mouth.
It also instructed the flu and cough the affected person should shun traveling and consult a doctor for proper treatment.
