ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued an important clarification regarding the collection of Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) for citizens who submit their applications through mobile registration vans.
According to a NADRA spokesperson, applicants are given several delivery options when submitting their applications. Those opting for home delivery are advised to provide their complete and accurate residential addresses to ensure that their identity cards are delivered to the correct location.
The spokesperson clarified that applicants who choose to collect their cards from a NADRA office must obtain them from the same office they selected at the time of application.
If an applicant does not select any delivery option, NADRA staff will inform them about the nearest relevant registration centre from where they can collect their identity cards.
NADRA has also advised applicants to keep their application receipts or tracking IDs safe. Once the specified processing period has elapsed, they can present the receipt or tracking ID to collect their identity cards.
