LAHORE: National cricket team star and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan has been summoned once again by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Lahore in connection with an ongoing inquiry.
According to sources, the NCCIA Lahore has issued a second formal notice to Mohammad Rizwan in the matter. The notice directs the national cricketer to appear in person at the NCCIA’s Lahore office at 3pm on October 2.
The notice states that failure to appear on the specified date and time may be taken to mean that the concerned individual has no position or explanation to present in his defence.
The agency has further warned that failure to comply with the notice could lead to legal action under the law.
The latest notice comes as part of the NCCIA’s ongoing inquiry involving the national cricketer.
