ذرائع کے مطابق، چند ماہ قبل سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارمز پر ایک متنازع ویڈیو وائرل ہوئی تھی جس میں ‘عمیری’ نامی شخص اور خاتون انعم بی بی مرکزی کردار کے طور پر سامنے آئے تھے۔ اس ویڈیو کے وائرل ہونے کے بعد علاقے اور خاندان میں شدید تناؤ پایا جا رہا تھا اور ملزم (مقتولہ کے والد) کو شدید ذہنی دباؤ اور خاندانی سبکی کا سامنا تھا۔
اطلاعات کے مطابق ملزم نے واقعے کے بعد پولیس یا مقامی انتظامیہ کے سامنے اعتراف کیا کہ اس نے خاندانی غیرت اور بدنامی کے باعث اپنی بیٹی کو موت کے گھاٹ اتارا۔

The woman associated with the alleged video was also reportedly taken into police custody.
