KARACHI: Electricity supply will be temporarily suspended in various areas of Karachi on September 18, 2026, due to routine maintenance and repair work. According to the announced schedule, power outages will take place at different times in different areas.
Under the schedule, 11th Commercial will remain without power from 10am to 5pm, 51-C Area from 9:59am to 5:59pm, Agha Shahi from 8:59am to 5:29pm, and Bank Quarters from 11am to 6pm.
Electricity supply in Behavioral Sciences will be suspended from 9am to 6pm. Meanwhile, Chinchari will face an outage from 8:59am to 5:29pm, Clifton Two from 11:58am to 4:58pm, and Creek Club from 8:59am to 5:59pm.
In Crescent Pencil, power will remain suspended from 10:59am to 7:59pm; Crown Cinema from 9:59am to 3:59pm; Darakshan Four from 8:59am to 5:59pm; and Defence Pumping Three from 2:29pm to 5:29pm.
Similarly, Evershine will experience a power outage from 12pm to 6pm, Farhat Bagh from 10:30am to 6pm, Friends from 11:59am to 5:59pm, Ganhwar Khan Gabol from 9am to 6pm, and Global City from 8:59am to 5:59pm.
Power supply in Harding Bridge will be suspended from 11:58am to 4:58pm, Haroon Sons from 8:59am to 4:59pm, Holy Family from 8am to 6pm, Ikhlas Chowk from 9:59am to 3:59pm, and International Ceramic from 8:59am to 5:59pm.
Meanwhile, Jason Trade will remain without electricity from 8am to 6pm, Jubilee Gate from 10:30am to 6pm, Khalid Pumping from 10:59am to 5:59pm, and Khayaban-e-Ghalib Sector E from 9:59am to 4:59pm.
In L Area, electricity will be suspended from 10am to 6pm; Mercury Garment from 10:59am to 8:59pm; North Vista from 9am to 6pm; and Poly Trade from 8:59am to 5:59pm.
Power supply in Power Cell will be suspended from 8:59am to 5:29pm, Preston University from 8am to 6pm, Rabi Apartment from 9am to 6pm, and Rangers Headquarters from 8:59am to 5:59pm.
Additionally, Rashid Industry will face a power outage from 10:29am to 5:59pm, Seema Green Valley from 10:30am to 6pm, Salma Supermarket from 10:59am to 2:59pm, and Shize Residency from 10:30am to 6pm.
In Sheraton Hotel, electricity will remain suspended from 8:59am to 5:59pm; Sheraton Square from 9am to 6pm; Tariq Commercial from 10am to 5pm; and Treatment Plant from 9:01am to 5:51pm.
Meanwhile, Zahoor Councillor will remain without electricity from 8:59am to 5:59pm.
Citizens have been advised to keep the scheduled power outage timings in mind on September 18 and complete essential electrical work in advance. Residents have also been advised to make alternative arrangements beforehand to avoid inconvenience during the power interruptions.
