Earlier, the federal cabinet had delayed the appointment of a new police chief for Sindh after the government’s coalition parties expressed serious concerns over the decision.
The delay came a day after PM Imran and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah met to discuss the appointment of a new Sindh IGP. Earlier the Sindh cabinet had decided to appoint a new IGP to replace Syed Kaleem Imam.
