QUETTA: Jamaat-i-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has announced a protest today over the surging prices of commodities.
The chief said that he would have to give a call for countrywide strike against the incumbent government which had started stumbling within a period of one and half years, he added.
In this regard, Sirajul Haq urged people to join the protest and carry banners and placards written with slogans against the incumbent government for failing to arrest the culprits behind surging the prices.
The JI chief said that he was ready to undertake massive movement against the incumbent government that was unable to resolve the problems of the citizens.
Earlier, Sirajul Haq had condemned the world community for its silence over the human rights atrocities that are being committed by the Indian Army in occupied Kashmir.
he said that the courageous Baloch and Pakhtun tribespeople would not abandon their Kashmiri brethren alone in these testing times.
