FAISALABAD: Armed dacoits allegedly raped two teenage sisters during a robbery here in Chak 379 GB in Faisalabad.
According to police two armed dacoits entered a house in Chak 379 GB and allegedly raped both sisters. Police further said that they have filed a first information reports (FIRs) against culprits over the matter and arrested one accused.
According to the FIR, the victims’ mother who submitted the request said five armed robbers had broken into her house at nighttime and robbed some valuables, including Rs 20,000 cash and jewellery. During the robbery, the men also molested both her teenage daughters.
On indication of the family that filed the report, police arrested one suspect involved in the incident, while a search for the remaining suspects was underway, said police.
Police said during the initial investigation the arrested accused confessed his involvement in the crime, police added.
