Workers’ remittances grew by more than 9 percent during the first five months of the current fiscal year (FY26), the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Tuesday.

Pakistan received $16.14 billion in remittances during July to November of fiscal year 2026 (FY26), compared to $14.76 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year. This reflects an increase of 9.3%, or $1.3 billion.
